How do we offset our carbon usage besides reducing our fossil-based energy use? We recycle and reuse. We use LED bulbs. We turn off lights in the office when not in use and use natural light when at all possible. If that means we come in earlier, then that’s what we do.
We plant trees to replenish the environment, even though we use recycled paper products. We telecommute and offset our usage at our homes, too. At DeBellis & Ferrara, our workers follow the same guidelines for recycling and energy-use reduction that the office does. It's how we roll.
